Armed Forces Families Transition Support

We are pursuing interest and funding from the armed forces to look at ways to support families in transition moving between different postings.

When service personnel with disabled family members, or family members with additional needs, are posted to a new camp they inevitably fall within the remit of a different Social Services Authority and therefore have to start from the beginning with the arrangement of care and provision of services for their family members. We believe with effective planning these arrangements could be more smoothly and quickly put in place. We are currently pursuing opportunities to use our Person Centred Planning approaches and tools to facilitate this process.
