In the year 2000 the CREDO Project (Creating Real and Equal Development
Opportunities) was originally set up in
Northern Ireland to support young
people with profound and complex impairments in planning and looking forward to
adult life.
What is different about our approach?
Since 2000 we have had many successes and evidence of positive change in peoples lives and our work has developed into new areas. Current work includes: Transitional planning for disabled teenagers in the Sperrin Lakeland H&SS Trust area. Each year the Sperrin Lakeland Health and social services Trust are commissioning a number of person centred plans to be developed for young disabled people who are looking beyond their life at school and starting to think about adult life.
