Description of Role

We're looking for someone who is passionate about horses, and about working with and through them to enrich the lives of children and young people.

We have an exciting opportunity to be the Lead Facilitator of our Equine Projects.  Our programmes involve practicing Equine Facilitated Learning and using natural horsemanship techniques with children, young people and their families who are isolated or at risk of isolation due to disability, disadvantage or long term ill-health. Equine care skills are therefore essential.

A positive, nurturing leadership approach with children and young people is essential, along with an understanding and knowledge of safeguarding.

Experience of working with natural horsemanship techniques and in working with horses on the ground to support people's wellbeing is desirable.

Additionally supervisory or management experience is required and ideally experience of fund raising and writing tenders.

You would also have a full driver's license and ideally access to your own vehicle.
