Life Story: Changing lives with Dream Dare Do
In the South East, Circles Network worked with Brighton and Hove Social Services Department as part of their self directed support pilot project.
Through the 3D Community Support: Dream Dare Do project we supported eight young people to move out of their family home, creating imaginative support plans with individuals and their families that focused on the outcomes they really desired.
A family in Essex funded Circles Network to develop a Circle of Support in the classroom for a young boy who wanted to maximise his opportunities for social interaction and to gain support from his peers.
The project was highly inspirational and our Dream Dare Do tools led to some wonderful outcomes and experiences for the young boy. This work is now informing the development of our Transition Matters training and learning materials.
