Download the project leaflet (PDF) Steering 2 SuccessThis project will develop and work with an existing group of carers in Manchester who have formed a support group to help share ideas on dealing positively with extreme behaviour from the young people in their care. This will include training in person centred planning and circles of support from ourselves and the "Nurtured Heart" approach from America. Circles Network will support the group to develop these techniques into a set of tools that they can train other carers in, using facilitation skills, graphic design (for support materials) and interactive computer aided learning. Past TrainingTransforming the Difficult ChildFor the first time in the UK, a 1 day and 5 day conference on the Nurtured Heart approach facilitated by Howard Glasser (author of Transforming the Difficult Child) and Tom Grove (certified Nurtured Heart trainer).
